Default Opinions?

Looking at my rims, what do you all think about painting them black? I'm thinking glossy black, any photoshop gurus? Also any KR owners, what leather conditioner/cleaner do you use? I've been using the boot barn boot conditioner its seems to not do the job quite well.

If you want to paint the wheels you'll need to prep them properly. Typically you would treat them with alodine which is a chromic based acid that etches and penetrates the surface, and leaves a finish that primer and paint will adhere well to. Bare aluminum will reject paint.

I wouldn't do them black. The green/tan two tone you have would look weird (IMO) I would go with a new wheel that has a "dark tint" on it as it appears more bronze colored, it would look good with your gold trim.

before you actually paint your wheels, check out plastidip and their wide variety of colors. You might find a green or tan that you might like. I don't think black would be the best look, but it would look better than chrome.

I could see a darker grey/gunmetal looking good with those colours.

X3 do not go black. I like your setup that you have right now! Can we get more pictures of your truck?
