Opinion and Pictures on my possible modifications
So I am in high school and just got shut down on lifting or even leveling my dads 2010 lariat. I got to thinking buy a 04-6 xlt 4x4 crew, plain in black or white. Possibly I am thinking about putting a 4 inch lift with 35's. I like the rough country systems and a lift from them is 1299. Any opinions and any pics on a truck that has a 4 inch lift with 35's. I am open to other ideas.

Spend an extra $100 and get the 6" Trust me, you would like it in the long run. Also, if you went with 35s, I would regear depending on whether you get 3.55 gears, or 3.73 gears.

Try the search feature for 4" lift pics... I know one member here named kingranch4life has a nice screw with a 4" lift and 35s...
3:73 gears should be fine to run 35's with. If you get a 3:55 then a re-gear to 4:10 or 4:11 you will have better power to the ground without sacrificing good highway drive ability. 4:56 might be way better off the line but will certainly eat into your highway cruising speeds. Gears are expensive, $800 to $1200 to get em done normally.
