Default Is This An Old Tranny Filter O-Ring

Changing tranny fluid and filter while replacing a solonoid. I see what looks like the o-ring from a previous filter in the filter hole. Its in there snug, wanted to check here before I use pokey things on it. It didn't come from the filter I just removed, and I don't remember if the filter fell off the old filter when I did a change a couple months back.

Well it was touch and go for a bit, but it sure as heck was an old o-ring. It was in there good, seemed like it belonged there and I was tearing it up before it broke loose and came in one piece. Bums me out that I missed it on the last filter and fluid change. It was my first one, and I remember thinking it didn't feel like it seated very well.
