X2 on this. Mine was corroded to hell and stuck real tight. This baby took it right off. Hard as hell to get leverage in there by hand + oil, not to mention no room for a normal filter wrench.

That's why I use a 6 point socket, extension and ratchet.

Guess I didn't have one that big . It was like over an inch if I remember correctly.

Ha true. I do have the 30 mm deep socket and 1 1/16 inch for the strut nut and bolt.

Not gonna be much help here but just wanted to say I feel your pain lol. I just changed my oil and spent about 2 hours under my truck trying to get the filter off. I really believe they used an impact driver to put the blamed thing on!

I've alwAys used this never had a problem either just make sure you have an extension you can get a grip on
