i personaly love the look of them behind the grill especialy with a billet grill. My lights reflected too much so went with a bumper + mounts.


EDIT: yes im missing alight cap lol

I had a set of KC daylighters behind my vertical billiet grill and they were worthless. I have the pencil beams and they would barely light up the reflectors on the road. Sure they looked cool, but they wernt functional. So, I moved them to a bull bar and replaced them with HID's. Now they are fuctional.

Ill turn mine into HID's prob by end of this summer. My lights are way bright already but HID's are where its at.
And thanks Raiderh8r89, Now that mines mostly all built, i have been looking to get a truck like yours. Very clean truck.

I'm in the process of rigging my 500's on my truck and what i did was take that piece of metal hardware thats in an "L" shape (dont know what its exactly called) and bolted it to the top of my transmission radiator thing and then bolted the light to the top of the "L" bar...seems a bit simpler than what you did but I have know idea how sturdy my system will be offroad...should be pretty strong. I'll post pics when i can get em.

I didnt want mine touching the radiators.
