$25 for standard shipping is a little more reasonable than $180

Thanks for al the help and insight.

A new oem one is on order. Got it on eBay for $220 +27 shipping. Best deal I could find out there. Local dealer was at $306 and would budge.

Spoke with tasca parts and the reason for their insanely high shipping is because they ship it on a big pallet that weights a lot. It's to protect from damage. They said it's not practical for just ordering a single part, but if you order bumpers, more panels, etc, the shipping price doesn't increase.

Glad I didn't get the junk aftermarket fender, especially knowing the steel is thinner and can dent, warp and rust easier.

You bet. Good luck on the repair!

I don't know if it's actually thinner, but Chinese steel historically has not been as good as US steel, and trying to duplicate the fab process of the panel, something is almost always lost in the translation and the fit is likely not as good as OEM.

Thanks!

The company selling the aftermarket fender said "The item is not as thick as the OEM, however components fitment and specifications are set to match that of an OEM part"

That's when I ran away.
