Default Lariat Cluster Swap Question

I've done the prerequisite search...I have a 2007 FX4 with the luxury package, basically all the options as the Lariat. I've already installed the info center control switch (the wiring was already there) and I have factory installed climate control also...OK, so I purchased a Lariat cluster off ebay, everything works as it should. The only problem was the seller absolutely butchered the packaging and the cluster was all cracked up, so I had to return it. Now, I just purchased another one from a different seller and he needs to know the part number from my existing (Lariat) cluster, which I of course don't have. He states that the part number differences are:
Lariat & King Ranch, ID 7L34-10849-EC, ED & EE
Lariat & King Ranch, ID 7L34-10849-EAA & EAB
Lariat & King Ranch, ID 8L34-10849-EA

Now, how much does it matter, as long as the model year (and mileage) are the same? Apparently the have a sh*t ton of clusters in stock.

I just purchased a cluster from an FX4 for my 07 XLT off Ebay. Seller asked me the same questions about part numbers and whatnot. I just told him that it will fit and that i will just purchase it no matter what. Yours will fit with no problems. Just but it.

@EBC-150 why are you going from the FX4 cluster to the Lariat cluster if I may ask? I just put a FX4 cluster in my STX for the looks and the tach, but I lost the door chime and overhead light. I may end up getting an XLT cluster, but I like the looks of the FX4.

Tom
For the enhanced info center display, plus I prefer the speedo to be in the center of the gauges, not off to the right...

I had to go through 2 different Lariat clusters before I realized they were all programmed differently depending on the options on your truck. Before buying another cluster, ask the seller for the VIN of the vehicle it came off of and then look up the specs on fordparts.com.... it'll save alot of time...

Hell, I must have gotten lucky both times then. The first Lariat cluster worked fine, except the seller poorly packaged it and it was all cracked up. The new one I just installed is great, everything works as it should, but like I said, I have the luxury package that includes the Lariat options already...
