oem remote start install
i need some help. im installing an oem remote start in my 04 fx4. everything works except remote start. if anyone has a pic of the polarity tabs ( 4 on bottom of module) it would really help alot

the tabs dont need moving on an 04 .when you go to start it how many honks do you hear. is the pats modual programed. the oem theft light will flash fast if thats your problem .you also need to program it to be in tackless mode .in the manual it tells you what the honks are . and what remote start are you installing.

all tabs go to the bottem 3 honks door is open or the the vilet green wire is seeing 12 volt 4 honks tach is not programed set to tach less.5 honks the key is in the ignition thin black white wire.is this a 6 button remote or a 1 button . do you know how to program it.

its a 6 button. i know how to program it. tha PATS is kicking my a**. can i use any bypass? when i press the remote start it turns everything on but wont crank (turn the starter). any pictures would be greatly appreciated

the ford one plugs in ,but you can use an aftermarkit one neg out when started wire.you will need 2 programed keys .key on till oem theft light goes out then the same with second key then push the blue button.

I hate the module that comes with the oem remote start. When I install the remote starters for our Ford dealerships I throw that module away and use a xpresskit or idatalink module in and have much better results.
