Default my experince with the lag and what has helped me

Have been reading all the posts and after going thru it myself 6months after i got mine i talked to my buddy who worked at the ford plant in detroit for 17years with all range of jobs their and the becoming a service tech then owning his own shop now says is normal as out trucks were made for towing not hauling ***,lol. So i asked him what i could maybe do to get alittle better take off and he said either stp or gumout brand fuel injector cleaner,or seafoam also works. Now yes the bottle says once every 300miles on any brand you buy usually and he says that also,But i decided to use it one bottle everytime i filled up and did this for 4months and do it to this day and hey in my experience it helps,or atleast it has helped mine with the lag problem. These three brands i have mentioned will not harm your truck in anyway, shorterm or long term.i ran stp fuel unjector cleaner in my 97 ford and i never had the lag problem when i switched to it and i ran that fuc ker two 231thousand miles(of course with proper maintence ya'll,lol.Like i said this is just my experince with my trucks ya'll.

Tell ya what,i will give myself the middle name if zack.so all the ryans and the one sack, lets all march to the ford headquarters and demand a new non lagged engine ya'll.who's with me,lol..anyways was talking to my tech guy who did work for ford for a long time and did mention alittle bit about our coils, plugs, injectors and fuel rail and we can get past the lag if we replaced all that with aftermarket parts that are not preprogramed by the computer.but of course thoe you get all that and the computer wil have to be retuned for al he new parts.

really?? its miss firing if its missing it jsut doesnt want you to run very fast on it but just be careful with it take it to advanced auto and look at its freeze frames
or jsut set it off again
adn i couldnt agree more that automatics only slow us down ...... dont tell anyone but i drive an automatic for now
