Obx vs Oem manifolds
Hello all,
In the market for manifolds that don't leak... grown tired of one's that do!
So, Obx is cheap ebay stuff while Oem is tried and true. Anyone think Obx would benefit me?

Yes. 5.4L 3v with 200k miles. FX4 SCREW variant.
Already have high flow cats and new-ish muffler.
I understand that long tubes are the way to go for performance. However, I do not want to spend $700+ on something like that, I am not really looking for big performance gains. And as far as sound, my truck is loud enough- I am not concerned with gaining any tone. Plus the shortys will be episode to install/weld up.
I am looking at this as: I need to fix the leak- and I can get the headers for the same price as oem manifolds.

In the same exact boat as you...except mine just started to make a little noise... In my research found that shorty headers will bolt right up to the exhaust system after install...either long or short tube will be a PITA to install ... I believe long tube's would require cutting and welding the exhaust. I was looking at the Gibson Stainless steel shorty's
