Default Trouble Filling Gas Tank

Proud new owner of my first F-150 as of a couple days ago! Sorry I don't have any pictures yet..... But i have my first question. I tried to fill up for the first time yesterday and the pump kept clicking off. I could only get about a half gallon in each time before it clicked off again. Doesn't matter what speed the pump is at, or what angle the nozzle is. I tried everything, putting the nozzle as deep as it would go, to pulling the nozzle almost all the way out. Also, when i remove the gas cap, the tank lets out a hiss like its under pressure or something. You guys know of any fixes before I take it to my Ford dealer and spend a ridiculous amount of money for something that's maybe an easy fix?

do a search ... there was a topic with your problem not to long ago.. i believe it was a clogged vent line or purge valve someting like that.. either way, it was an easy fix that did not require a trip to the Dealer.
