Very nice. I bought my Whipple used for $3400. I had to find injectors and get custom tuning but it was well worth the 429/468rwhp results. Since then its been like a drug making it faster and stronger. Can never get enough. Welcome to the club. Do you plan to close off the area around the air filter so it can have the hot air under the hood? Also you may want to look at a 170-180 stat. This seems to be preferred by the top tuners and modular performance builders. The 160 is overkill and will leave you wanting heat in the winter. I learned this the hard way. Hope all goes well tomorrow!

The Vortech kit air to water intercooler comes with an expansion tank that fits behind the pass. Side head light, but that is where I have my e-fans controllers, and if you ever have to change a bulb the tank needs to be removed and drained, I couldn't find a tank the right size so I made one out of pvc pipe and painted it black..

Thanks man! I have the cover for the air filter, picture just looked better without it, I live in florida so heat is not a big concern, but i will ask the guy that is tuning it, if I have to replace its only $20 and about 10 min of work, I appreciate the advice and experience since this is new to me!!
BTW, you are running 12+ lbs of boost, have you had any issues with your truck??

Yes and No. Some how I missed your question so sorry about the long time for a reply. The only issue I had was crappy tune that helped destroy the trans. Since I let Troyer do my tuning and have followed his advice on things no more issues.

Thanks for the reply, sorry to hear about your trans.. I'm running my trans with 15% stiffer shifts. Tuner advised against it, but I like the feel of it..

There are lots of changes to make with shift pressures, power allowed through, shift points, tc lockup and so on. My first tuner made no changes to the trans tuning from stock other than shift pressure for firmer shifts. Just another Mustang tuner. Leason learned and I purchased a built trans with a 3500 stall converter. No regrets there.
