Default Not sure which new tire to get...

hey guys, its coming that time that i change my tires. i've narrowed it down to a decent size list...
BFG T-A KO
Nitto Terragrapplers
Falken Wildpeak AT
Toyo Opep Country AT
Yoko Geolander
Goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac
Firestone Destination AT
i have a 2008 lariat with 20s. im pretty much, more going for more of an aggressive look, but i still want a good tire that is going to be quiet, good in wet/dry and have good wear. i will be using them in the snow quite abit, hoping we get lots of snow this winter :P but not to much off road. also, i would like to throw a 275/65 which im pretty sure is 34", anyone have any ftting issues? i know it will need a level, but i want the tallest tire possible, unless you guys think a 275/60 would fit better?? if you guys have any comments concerns past experiences, please share!

thanks

I have 275 60r20 Terra Graps awaiting wheels at the shop right now, I have heard nothing but good things about the Terragrapplers (which is why I chose them). If you still need some feedback in a week or so i'll be sure to chime in after i've had them put on!

Geolander's a co-worker had and he liked them, but replaced them with Hankook Dynapro ATM's and he loves those and they were a little cheaper than the Yoko's. I put a set of ATM's on our '98 and love them in the winter and have worn pretty well so far with all the gravel use they see. Just put some Cooper AT/3's on the wifes Avy, how they perform will decide the choice of my truck getting either the ATM's or the AT/3's.

mclubben: i've actually heard lots of good about the terra grapplers also. and at this point, i think i am leaning more towards some nittos too. let me know how those work out for ya

wintersucks: lol i love winter haha. i checked out the ATM's they look pretty nice, ill have to do some more reading up on them. for coopers, i was looking at the zeons before, but i heard that they tend to get noisy. but i hope that doesn't happen with your set, maybe it was just the zeons that got noisy.

I have become a Nitto fan myself, have not had the terra's however. I have had trail grapp's, and Drag Radials on my Lightning and 555's on the front good ride lot's cheaper than Goodyear or Firestone. Also run the DR on my 93 stang and I have put some 1.55 60' times.

That's your narrowed down list, are you sure?

BFG provides great overall performance and value. I've had 3 sets on 3 different trucks.

The Falkens are nice and last a while, and the terre grapplers are and do as well.

Falkens even come with a mileage warranty.

I have had two sets of each on previous vehicles, so has my dad.

Cooper makes some bad *** AT's as well.

^ Prior to the Federals I ran a Cooper Zeon LTZ which was either a 275/60 or 275/65, can't remember which it was. They did well for the first 10k, after that the uneven wearing began with spot on alignment/balance/pressure. They are now sitting in my shop collecting dust.
