+30 Backset wheels on a 07 F150
i am looking at a set of 22 inch wheels for my F150 and i was wondering what a +30 backset would be like on my truck. will the tires stick out past the truick and if so how much?? will it look bad on my 2wd truck?? anyone have pics??

i had 20's on my 08 f150. they were -35 offset and stuck out about 2 inches outside the fenderwell. Looked good but i could not deal with the rocks it thru up against the side of the truck. they wheels i had were also 9 inches wide.

How wide are the 22" wheels you're looking at? Stock backspacing is 5.5" so you want to try and stick as close to that as possible. Anything less and your wheels will stick out further past the fender, anything more and they'll tuck up under.
crazykarl - surprised those things only stuck out 2" past your fender because a -30 offset on a 9" wheel is like almost 2" less backspacing than stock plus adding the extra 2" of width over stock wheels. I would have thought you'd stuck out more than 2".

i was thinking about that. i had a set on a 2002 F150 and they rubbed but the tire was like a 305 abd the truck was only 2wd. so if i get a lower profile tire i should be ok.
