I have a 99 with a 5.4, it's about an $80 fill up and I seem to be getting 12-14 MPG. I've only had it a short time so I don't know exact number and per tank mileage.

What gear ratio does the FX4 have? I usually get 15-16ish in town and 18ish highway driving at 80mph. I think I could break 20mpg with the ol' 5.4 if I didn't exceed 70mph

Ihave an 04 x-cab 4x43 with 4.6 and got over 460 miles on a 27-28 gallon tank. It was pretty much dry before i filled it up. That was on a mix of city and highway. About 17 average.
