Default No power to radio

Can someone tell me if I fried my radio. Left my lights on and killed my battery, had a young guy in our warehouse jump me off and he connected the cables backwards and I turned the key to try and start it and it arced at the battery, now no power to radio, everything else works. I replaced the 5 amp fuse the manual said was radio start but no luck. I put this in the wrong section. Sorry 2007 f150.

Hmm are you sure it wasn't you that did it...

Anyways it's very possibly you have a short on your constant wire for the radio or even more possible the switched/RAP is shorted. Best to check out the voltage and continuity of the circuits then get back to use before we can have a verdict.

Nope, it's not too small. It's fuse #7, a 5 amp mini fuse that feeds the radio.

have you checked to see if your getting power up to the fuse?
if you are , but not at the plug on the back of the radio, at lest that makes things easy to splice a new wire in.
also make sure its not the ground, that's at fault. good luck.

Friend of mine worked at a Western Auto store back in the 70s and he did that
to a customers car and it fried all the electrical.
