hello all, i got in my truck after work today exited to go home, i turn the key to fire it up and heard a click and then nothing. no power to anything. it was as if my battery was disconnected. so before trying to jump it. i popped the hood and removed my negative battery terminal and put it back on. hopped back in the truck, and it was like nothing happened. as soon as it started my edge eve displayed a message "trucks hex file blah blah blah" or something like that. was that only displayed because i basically reset the truck by disconnecting the battery. or is something else up? i was going to try and update it but the fusion software doesn't work for mac computers

I get the hex message if I disconnect my battery too, i dont think theres anything wrong with that. As far as your issue, you may want to clean and even possibly change out those battery clamps to make sure that they keep a good clean connection.

yeah... that message you see is normal when you interrupt power...you have a battery problem..
