if it is just tire balance problem it shouldn't happen only when the sunroof is opened.

I guess I missed that variable. I guess maybe the sunroof is reducing the structural rigidy to a point that this happens. Maybe it is a balance issue that gets magnified when the sunroof is open?

Robotaz' says he has a vibration problem with or without the sunroof open. And sunroof open can cause it to be worse, or maybe set up a 2nd problem. I'm sure the stiff frame has nothing to do with your problem, it can only help.

My guess is you have a couple different things going on and it may take a while to sort it out if the problem happens rarely. Your driveshaft really could be a little out of balance. I agree it could be a wheel or tire that is out of balance. Sunroofs can cause resonant air pressure inside the cab the might get things flopping around in the cab. Do you have any aftermarket parts on the thing? Wheels, hood deflector, window deflectors, tonneau cover, etc? Suspect those. My current Chevy had a terrible wind noise from passenger door only in very specific wind conditions. I finally found out that if I removed the bug deflector off the hood, the problem was 90% gone. I once let alignment get really bad on a car, and the vehicle became amazing unstable to drive.

honda ridgeline.....whew... how did that get classified as a truck... imho they are considerabley ugly. as most others in the thread have said the ford f150 and sd both have really nice looks. I get people driving other trucks looking hard at my f150 at the gas stations and that makes me feel even better.
