i mean as good as this sounds...i am going to have to totally disagree with the outcome...unless there are some unknown circumstances in this race...was it raining while you had 4x4 on and he had a one legger? was he spinning the whole time? stuff like that...b/c i have the 5.4 and i spank my cousins 4.6 all day long and i raced a buddies 5.6 titan a few times(and they only come in a 5.6) and got my *** handed to me...the truck is light and fast...so i doubt he was even racing you at the time if this did happen...not a titan fan but i will give credit were it is due...now if you told me you towed him down the block id give you the old ...lol

Wow for a second I thought I was on the SV forum I'm a mod on. Except it's probably more frequent over there. It's always "What supersport can I beat" and the answer is always "none, if the guy can ride it well". But with the weight, price, and v-twin torque, it's like you're saying here, you can have all the power, but you need to have it where you really need it, and the rest of the vehicle to back it up. A lot of it depends on the driver as well. Plus I just feel more American driving a Ford

Trucks are not for racing, sure you can make one fast, you can make anything fast. But for all the money and time you have in your truck, somebody will come buy in a muscle car/sports car with alot less time and money in it and leave you looking at thier rear bumper.
Ford builds its trucks to be a truck. Toyota and Nissan build thier trucks to be a big heavy car with a bed and yes thier big heavy cars with a bed are faster then my ford truck.

I wouldn't buy an import unless it only had 2 wheels, or was an ATV.
