Default Newbie W/ Questions !!!!!! *

Just bought a 04 F-150, Stx , 4x4, 4.6 , great shape with low kms ! Came to this site and seems like theres alot of informative people here, seems like im gettin terrible fuel milage , it costs about $120 to fill , gas heres $1.28 or something like that ..And it seems like im only getting about 550 kms per tank , and i thought i heard they have a 97 litre tank ? I dont know what kind of mpg that would be, but to me it doesnt sound that great , also , what can i do as far as driving or accesories that would improve gas milage, and what kind of difference would i see by putting a lift and wheels and tires on ?

Bigger tires are going to make your trucks miles count up somewhat slower. I dont know if its that much, but its still significant

I dont reprogram my truck for tires usually, I just keep in mind that my speedometer is gonna be off.

One of the many calculators you can find on the internet can show what the difference in tire size is going to mean for your speed and mileage.
