New wheels and tires...thoughts?
I just took these pictures with my cell phone, so I know the quality isn't the best, but I need some input on something that is driving me crazy.
I am running a 2.5" level with 17" Wheels and 33" tires. It just looks like it needs something and I can't tell what.
Asked a buddy about maybe a small lift and he said no way.
What do you think?
Before: 18" Factory wheels, 32" BFG KO's
After: 17" XD Addict with Nitto Trail Grappler MT's

It needs a more aggressive stance. Since you didnt get rims with the backspacing to make the rims stick out a little, try wheel spacers to set make the tires/wheels stick out a bit, that would set it off IMO.

I dont think you need a lift. If it were my truck, i would take off the chrome handles because they make the truck look chincy. Add some black headlights and either paint or powdercoat the tool box black. Bam, now you have a black, grey and red theme!

Couple more.
The Trail Grapplers are a little squishy on the road. Have not tried them off road yet. I just got them Wed.
I bought the truck used so the Chrome handles were already there. Wish I had OEM.
The tool Box was second hand for..$50 if I remember right. Couldn't pass it up.

They feel a little soft on the road IMO. Of course I had close to 60PSI in my BFG's the last 10k to try to even out tread wear.
They are quieter than typical Mudders but still make a racket even with the windows up.
I hope to get 50k out of em with rotations EVERY oil change and checking pressure weekly.
Can't wait to sling up some mud with them.
