What was the first year they started putting the sensors in the tires? My 05F150 doesn't have them but my wife's 06 Yukon XL does. Just curious.

Explorer first year was 2002 , Expy 2003 , F150 first year was 2007

What year is yours? My 04 didnt have tire pressure sensors

This is a mandate that came from the Firestone and explorer deathly combination....... It was mandated for all vehicles starting with the 07 model year.
