what size tires are those?
They are 275/70/18. They are about as tall as I could find in an 18" tire without going a lot wider. It equates to a little over 33" tall. I was trying to go a bit taller without adding a lot of extra unsprung weight/rolling mass. I think the tire ended up being about the perfect height for the small lift that the truck has on it right now.

Besides, I wanted a black wheel with a polished lip to go with the similar color combo that my '65 fastback will be wearing.

I appreciate the compliment. I just think that "dubs" are for mall cruisers and soccer moms. It takes one of two things to make a 20" or larger wheel look right on a truck: 1) a whole lot of lift and massive tires OR 2) airbags or dropped suspension with low profile tires... street truck. Mine was somewhere in betweeen. It had an identity crisis. Now it's fixed.

Thanks guys! I didn't expect everyone to like the setup but it seems like a lot of people do. I appreciate the input.

It's a good thing that it was sunny because my camera has trouble picking up the detail of the wheel, especially in low light. The wheels look even better than they do in the photos. I just can't seem to get the camera to adjust properly.

Quick Reply: New wheel/tire combo is on the truck!
