Magnaflows are good about not throwing cel I have a pair on my truck and I love them and the raw fuel smell is because your cats aren't working because there hollowed out the o2 sensors in front of the cats control you air and fuel mixture So the hollowed cats won't make your truck run rich or lean.

Where did you purchase the truck???

If it were me- I'd be trying to get some free cats.....

Whether the person/dealer knew the cats had been tampered with is irrelevant- they sold you a vehicle with a illegal modification..

You're going to be good with the new Catz, you may need a O2 if you get a code later. I would instal an electric dump with a turn down if you like the off road rumble. LOL

This is certainly worth a try.... it wasn't street legal.

The truck was purchased from a dealer. I called this morning n they told me get a lawyer or do whatever I wanted they were not going to pay or put cats on the truck. I m going to call monday n speak with a lawyer if this mod does not work. i believe it was called Gotts mod I found it on here, it uses the spark plug foulers to back the rear 02s out of the pipes. Along with that I replaced an 02 sensor temporarily because i believe I had a two wires on one touching together. So far no light but I ll no for sure in the morning when its cold because for some reason thats when it decides to throw the codes.

That's what's on mine. I don't have cats either just the non foulers hasn't thrown a code once the entire 8 months it's been that way.
Depending on your state you may be able to get the law involved with the dealer. As it is illegal to sell a vehicle that fails DMV inspection

This is for Cali but is likely standard for any state that has inspections. http://www.bar.ca.gov/80_BARResource...Equip_Req.html

If you're going to call a lawyer maybe you shouldn't alter anything else until after you see what the lawyer says.

Well I figure I can always unscrew the foulers before anyone looks at the truck as it would only take ten minutes. The truck threw a code today and now its reading bank 1 sensor 2 stuck lean. Any idea on what this may be? I replaced one 02 where the wires were loosing some of their coating and it went out for a day or two n now is back. Is there any tuner that will get rid of all this as I could nt complain with some more power.

Did you buy the truck at a Ford dealer or some random used car lot?
