Hi I just bought my new 2008 f150. I was wanting to put on some black fender flares and an automatic unlock system. If you guys could help me out with some places I can get them for relatively cheap. Also it has 20" black eagle alloys does anyone know the proper and safe way to clean these kind of rims? I traded my 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 in on it never again will I buy another Chevy product complete junk.

First off, welcome.

Have you tried looking on ebay or amazon for them> if you want a certain style go to summit racing and look up the flares and then look for them on ebay since they would be cheaper on there. As far as for the automatic locking system, if your truck is already equipped with a ford alarm system, just buy the clicker FOB on ebay for like 5 buck and program it yourself (very easy thing to do).

Are your rims matte or are they glossy?

Welcome to the site! Pics would help us decide on what flares to recommend (factory type or pocket type). Same with the wheels, but in general, I have cleaned all types of wheels with foaming glass cleaner and never had an issue.

Auto unlock, as in door unlock kits? I have had very good success with the kits on ebay. Most kits come with 4 actuators, and you only need two, so you'll have two extra. If you buy one of these kits, mount the "box" under the tray in the center of the dash, as this provides the best range for the key transmitters to lock/unlock at just about every angle. I use the extra wiring of the other doors that are not needed in the included harness to extend the wiring for the two front doors to perform this (extend the harness to allow the box to mount under the center dash).

Sorry I don't know how to post pics on here. My tires stick out 2" so I'm getting a lot of gravel and what not flinging up and hitting the door. Also how can I tell if my truck had factory remote unlock

Ok I came across a thread about turning the key from off to on 8 times and if you have the remote unlock module it will lock and unlock the doors come to find out I do have the module my truck cycled the locks on the 8th turn

Looks really nice. Think you will be really happy with that truck. Also I was wanting to see a chrome bull bar with the chrome steps. Thinking of adding a chrome one to my truck.

Thank you. I'm loving the truck. Yea I was thinking about going with the all black look instead of the chrome but I'm not sure I like the way it is now just wish I had those big fender flares
