Default 2008 Harley AWD Can BDS 6" fit?

It's I am being told that the BDS 6" kit will not fit a 2008 Harley Edition AWD F-150. Does anyone have this truck with this lift. Can anyone confirm or deny this to be the case from first hand knowledge? What if any mods were required to make it fit/work? If you have this truck and lift combo can you post pictures and feedback? If you have this 2008 truck with a 6" lift of another brand can you post a review? Thanks!

I don't think there's anybody that makes above a 2" lift for the AWD units as you would have to replace the whole drive line/axles/drive shafts/springs and all of the front suspension. I'm sure it could be done for about the price of a new truck though.

I lifted my 08 Limited and wished I had lowered it instead and by lowering it I mean lowered the rear 2" and left the front alone. I like the look of a lower truck better.
The alignment shop told me they almost had to limit out my adjustments just for the 2" lift in the front. The AWD units are not for off roading and if you go you will see!

Hello Chris,

Thank you for choosing BDS Suspension Systems. The BDS 6” suspension system does have the option to use the BDS stut replacement system, but we have not yet released a Fox coilover replacement option for that lift. We do offer a 6” strut spacer lift which could use the Fox 2.0 series strut replacement with coil spring. The drive line modification is a conversion to a CV style dual cardan type front drive shaft. Please let me know if you need anything else.

Subject: 2008 AWD F-150 Harley Davidson Edition

I have a 2008 AWD Ford F-150 SuperCrew Harley Davidson Edition. My interest is in you 6" lift and I notice the disclaimer that a driveline modification is required for the AWD models, could you elaborate on what work is involved? I have reviewed your installation instructions and do not see any info on this. Lastly, I wanted to see if there was a Fox 2.5 CoilOver option for this lift? Thank you for your assistance.
