Default New Tires (with pics)

Finally got some new rubber today. Went with the Nitto Trail Grapplers 295/65/20 (35x11.5). Way too early to tell, but I'm very happy with them so far. Took very little weight to balance and not too bad on road noise. Had to do a little trimming of the panel mounted to the bottom of the front bumper where it comes back into the side of the wheelwell. Here's a few pics.

These trucks look so much better with 35" tires. Your truck looks great!

I'm so glad I went with 35's too!

Very nice! I keep goin' back and forth between those same tires in 35" or 33". Seems to change everyday.

Did your power change much? How 'bout your speedometer?

Thanks everyone. Yea, I was flip-flopping between 33's and 35's too. After I ordered these I was second-guessing myself thinking I should of went with the 33's, but I'm glad I didn't. I love the look with the 35's.

On the way home my spedo was showing around 50mph when my gps was showing around 55mph. Not too bad, but sounds like a good excuse to buy a programmer next, lol.

As for the power, I didn't notice a big difference. It did seem to take a little more pedal to get it going, but not much. I'm pretty light with my foot anyway trying to keep the mpg up. I did get on it once and it did fine though. I'll know more next weekend after pulling my 4wheeler trailer for a few hours to go do some riding.

Thanks again.
