I want to put some BFG All Terrains on my '05 FX4....it has the original Goodyear LT275/65/18'S on it, with the original rims....how big can I go...how wide of a tire can I put on these rims. I also have a 2.5 in leveling kit. Thanks guys!!

Sounds good....but the BFG website says that for that particular tire, you need a 8.8 -11 inch rim...I beleive the sock 18 inch rims I have are 7.5....Will they still work??

I have 305 70 18 MT ATZ's which is a little taller. (35") It only rubs at full lock. The 305 65's would be a little shorter and should not rub.

Thanks guys....good info. I think what I may do is just spend the extra dough and get new rims. I like the XD series Monsters in black....very nice!! What would work best if I get the bigger rims.....going with a 33x12.50, or maybe the 35x12.50 with the 18 inch rim.....or is it possible to run the 20 inch rims with either 33x12.50 or 35x12.50's....would I get rubbing on all of these/any of these?? I have an 05' F150 FX4 with a 2.5 leveling kit. Thanks in advance guys!!

I'm running the XD Badlands with 305/55/20's (33x12.50's) I was rubbing slightly until I fixed my weak spring now I'm golden. My avatar is my truck
