New tire choice
Hello, I have a 2006 lariat 4x4 with a 2.5 inch level. I am looking to up the tire size but I can't decide on which size. I am going to keep the stock wheels. I either want to get 275/70R18 bf Goodrich all terrains or I want the 305/65R18 bfgs. I'm having a lot of trouble and wanted some extra opinions. Hope you all can help

As you probably know, the 305/65/18 will be a bit bigger. Not by much though. If I were in your shoes, I would go with the cheaper option and use the extra money for another mod or just save it. Both will look great on your truck. I have the 275/70/18 on mine with a 2" level and they look great. Those bfg all terrain ko are great tires.
Good luck with your decision OP

Here is a good website that you can input the sizes and it will compare them and give a visual http://tire-size-conversion.com/tire-size-calculator/ As you probably know, the 305/65/18 will be a bit bigger. As far as offroading, I'm sure the 275's would do just fine. I've never been stuck somewhere and thought "If only my tires were an inch wider I wouldn't have gotten stuck" but yes, technically the 305's should do better.
Tire shops will probably tell you that 305's are to big for a 7.5 inch wheel but I've seen plenty of guys on here do it so I wouldn't be to concerned.

Ended up going with the 305/65r18 bfg at's and they look absolutely amazing. They rode great and as far as I can tell so far(haven't driven it hardly at all yet) they don't rub and if they do it is very minimal. I would highly recommend! Opinions?
