I have been on other forums where they will allow a group, in our case, 2004-2008 owners) to trade parts within the appropriate section. There is no cash allowed to be exchanged and each person pays their own shipping to send their part to the other person.

Mods, if there is enough interest, can we get this going in this section?

Or another one is the "pay it forward, free stuff thread" where if you have a parts you don't want anymore you can post them up and see if anyone will take them off your hands. One rule tho, no one can come in asking for parts.

Its a simple idea, post what you have to trade, then post what you are needing. I swapped a lot of Focus parts over on Focusfanatics.com. We did it outside of the buy/sell/trade section since there was no exchange of money.

buster096, I like that, lets just work in the pay it forward idea. Just remember, some parts are costly to ship, thats why I like the trading idea, but if someone wants to give their stuff away, who am I to say no!!

Maybe a moderator could make it like a sticky at the top of the page and title it "Official 04-08 Trade and Free parts thread"??? Then put in a stipulation that no money is to change hands, parties pay their own trade's shipping and the person getting the free part pays the senders shipping.

I would really like a mod to PM me is this can be set up.

I sent a pm to a mod with no reply, seems they dont like my idea. If we want to get this started, maybe more people need to send a message to a mod of this section. Hint, hint...
