Default new to the site...looking for tire suggestions on my 2006 f150 CREW CAB

Hey all, im new to this forum my buddy showed me the site. I am looking to get some new tires on my 2006 F150 4x4 super crew. I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions on what size and brand i should look at. I cant afford a lift kift yet, but wanted to go with the biggest tire size that I can get.
thanks in advance.

remember one thing about going to a bigger tire size, worse fuel mileage. I went from a 255/70/17 to a 305/70/17 and lost a little over 5mpg. I did add the 2.5" leveling kit. You should be ok up to a 32" maybe a 33" without a leveling kit (4x4). Look at the sticky at the top of the forum.

Yokohama Geolandar AT/s quiet on road, and great traction off road.

yes, speedo was recalibrated with my programmer and is dead on with my gps. I check by filling up and setting trip to 0, run the tank til light comes on and fill back up. Simple math divide miles traveled by by gallons used = mpg. I went from a factory 255/70/17 street tire to a 305/70/17 mudder. After adding hypertech programmer and k&n filter I am getting 13 in town and 15 on the highway

I concur with Raptor 22, just put a set of LT275/65/18 on my 04 Lariat Supercrew and they are great. Smooth on the highway and no road noise!

Yeah, my dad has sworn by them for years, always Yokos or BfGs.

I have had really great luck with Yokos myself so I totally recommend them.

BFgoodrich for stock or slightly oversize replacement. I have 37"/13.5 Nitto Mud Grapplers with only a 2.5" leveling kit. A little front bumper trim and no rubbing. Ive got 67,000 miles on my Nittos and they still have probably 1/4 tread left.
