Looks like it's common . I found a thread of people talking about needing to disable perimeter lighting after installing HiDS.

Okay I just disabled the perimeter lighting (which took all of 1 minute) and I was worried it would disable all exterior lights but all it did was disable he heads and tails when I unlock. The puddle lamps in the side mirrors, interior dome lights and cargo exterior light still came on which is exactly what I wanted. Now I need to try and get led light bulbs for the puddle mirror lighting!

Awesome news, look like I will be doing that. I wonder if it affects all HID conversions or just some?

Here is an led puddle light how to, looks like you need 31mm festoons bulbs: https://www.f150forum.com/f71/puddle...ctures-161809/

Whatever you decide, dont get ebay or amazon led's. Buy from a trusted source, I have been down that road.

Diode Dynamics is a vendor on our forum, who I pm'd and he offered me a discount code, they have great reviews and the prices are a little more friendly:

Not sure if it is just a coincidence that I just installed my lights and hid kit but today the left blinker was hyper flashing. Looks like he front turn signal bulb is done and that was the cause. I went ahead and picked up the ep27 and installed which got rid of the hyper flash. Now waiting on those switchbacks! Going to order the front side markers in white led as well.

So even with the resistors for the taillights and the EP27 flasher module, it all works correctly?

Yes . Well the driver side front turn signal bulb is not working so I can't fully confirm until the new switchbacks show up and get those installed but the right side works both front and back now

what's wrong with eBay lights? Paid 20 bucks shipped to canada. Swapped every interior light, puddles and license plate. Not sure how you can justify spending 15$ a bulb when doing all of them costed close to that much.
