Default New phasers, chains, guides, etc...

Had phasers and complete timeing chain kit put in my 05 5.4, got it back today but seems low on power. Some hesitation when i put my foot in it, could this be that it is out of time? I remember my 351 windsor you could just turn distributer to advance or retard time

yes it could be......but....who did the work, you or a specialist?

If all the work was done correctly, with new oil and filter and the rockers and lifters checked....it should feel good. It may be time to do the plugs too.....

Does it sounds okay?

If it was out of time you would most likely throw a check engine light. If you had that much work done it could be possibly that cats are bad. I am assuming you had misfires and drivability problems to justify replacing all the timing components.

no check engine light, i was kinda thinking cats, any way to tell if cats are bad, the previous owner had the rear cats cut off. It seems like it had more power and no hesitation before work was done

Most muffler shops should be able to check for bad cats.
