As a frequent "lurker", I decided finally and officially join this site. I often find lots of info on this site, and love seeing everyone's projects. So here I am.

I made the switch to Ford 2 years ago, and I couldnt be happier. I bought a 2007 F150 XLT 5.4, and absolutely love my truck. My primary goal is to keep a healthy daily driver, and drive it till the wheels fall off. Its not uncommon to see me pulling the boat, work trailer, or camper... and it does it so well! Here is my truck, totally dirty (I will post more pictures after I clean her up):

It doesn't seem like much right now, but its a work in progress. This weekend I finally have some time to start a long journey of preventative maintenance. Step 1: We will be starting with new plugs, serp, fuel filter, oil service, cleaning the MAF and TB, and a good detail! I am also in the middle of a light frame resto and coating. Ill post pictures when it is complete.

After that, I will be moving on to diff service, xfer case fluid, brake service, trans service, etc... Im sure somewhere down the road I will be looking into a small lift and new wheels... all that big boy stuff!

And I also messed with the Gotts Mod:

Any info, suggestions, or comments you guys may have about keeping this truck running top notch and healthy would be greatly appreciated. Ill post updates along the way.

Thanks.

Awesome. Looking forward to the pics. You should start a build thread.

Be sure to take out the plastic liner when you detail. You never know what's lurking under there.
