Default New to me 2007

I traded my 2013 F250 PSD in on a 2007 F150 Crew Cab Lariat 4x4. It's in really good shape and runs good. It's got 99k miles and no cam phaser or timing set noises. My 2013 was paid for so I left the dealer with the 2007 and a check for $19k. My wife and I are wanting to build a shop and this seemed to be the smartest way to fund it. We already have a 2015 F150 Lariat Crew 4x4 EcoBoost that she drives so I just needed something to get back and forth from the hunting areas. The only thing I have to get used to is the lower power and fuel mileage. So far running around town I'm seeing about 13 mpg. I pulled my 12 ft trailer with my 2000 lb UTV 200 miles and got about 10 mpg. I was able to pull with OD off at about 2750 RPMS and run 70 mph. The UTV has a windshield and is like pulling a sail. I want to pull a spark plug to see if they have been changed or not. Fingers crossed! The COPS look really clean so I'm hoping they are new.

10 MPG towing is about normal..... 13/19 is pretty normal as well most people wont hit 19 mpg HWY.. i do sitting on 33 M/TS

I ALSO advice you to get a tuner like edge, and get some of that power back and MAYBE a mpg or three

if it has stock exhaust i'd get a catback system to open it up a little more!

it's backwards for me.. i want to trade my f150 for a f250.. lol but mine is not paid off and i'm not rich

Do the tuners really help these 5.4s much? I've got an SCT Livewire that I could get some tunes put on.

I already ordered a set of Cooper STT Pros. Stayed with the stock size. Should be here next week.

I may order a flow through type muffler to put in place of the stocker. Just need to measure dimensions.

The F250 was awesome. I just didn't need it anymore since we sold our travel trailer 2 years ago.

Well I pulled a plug and it appears to be brand new. The COP is new too. They all look the same so I'm guessing I got lucky and this job was done for me just before I bought the truck.

Congrats on the new truck. Could I ask for a favor? Could you please measure from the center of the front wheel to the tallest part of the wheel well?
