looks great, that's an FX2 grille right? I've always liked the looks of them. My lariat is the same color red, and i like the black and chrome Mamba wheels you have better than the before ones. I've been looking at black/chrome wheels

Rims look much better!
You needa paint the shroud to match your truck paint on the grille though, it doesn't flow well

Yes, you can seperate them. You will see that there are "twisted tabs" that hold the painted surround to the grill. With paitence, and the use of a heat gun, you can twist these straight, and remove your outer grill and transfer it to the FX2 grill.

If you break a tab or two, don't worry, you don't need all of them to hold the outer suround to the grill. Just take your time and use a pair of plyers to twist them.

I could really use that black surround if you want to sell it.

Yes, you can separate the grille from the surround. I did like Bucko said and just used a pair of pliers to twist the tabs. Pretty much wrecked them all but it's no matter.

If you use a heat gun, they twist nicely without breaking. Then the grill part is "sellable". If you break them, it's trash, but the surround trim will be fine.

Thanks for the info, I was looking at it, and it looked like it would. I wouldnt mind having my old painted part back in there.
