rplatt56, isn't 295/70-17's shorter than 285/70-17's? I mean if you were going for the max height without going to an extreme large tire.

how do you figure this, a 295 is wider and a little taller than a 285, do you know how these tire sizes work?

295/70s equate to a 33.3" tire.
