Default New leveling ideas

Hey everyone,
I have a 2007 F150 XL 4.2 that is black. I was thinking about buying a 3" leveling kit and a 1" block in the rear and buying some 285 all terrains. After all that, I was going to black out the headlights and the wheels. Do you think that would look good? Any other suggestions I can do on my tight budget? Thanks for the help, -Lee

smoke your tails and 3rd brake light, tint the windows (i did mine myself for $35), get rid of the huge stock muffler and weld in somethin like a flowmaster or magnaflow dependin on what kinda sound you are goin for. all of this is cheap and simple.

Hey, I have the exact same question, about the 3" leveling kit and 1" block with 285/70-17's on a 2wd, will it work and will it look good?

Don't do 3" level, too much creates bad angles on your front suspension, go with either a 2" or 2.5" and 1" block if you'd like, tint tails, blackout headlights, window tint, some new exhaust wheels and beefy tires, and PTM and it'd look real sharp.

I realize your truck is 2wd and mine is 4wd but I thought I would post pics of mine because this is somewhat the look you are going for I believe. Tires are 325/60/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers with 18x9 XD Monster Rims. Windows are tinted to 15%. I have the autosprings 2.5" leveling kit on. I used VHT Nightshades to darken my taillights, 3rd brake light, and fog lights. The headlights are from ebay for $85.00. Any other questions let me know!

Is there a way to paint over the chrome? If not can stx bumpers be swapped onto a 07 xlt model?
