Default New Here and want some advice!

Hey Guys im new to this forum but wanted some expert advice who actually know what there talking about and have done it before.

So I own a black FX4 04 F150 5.4L 3V and have put a leveling kit and dual masteflows dumped exhaust nothing crazy.Everything else stock with FX4 upgrades.

I got some money back from my tax refund and looking to put some into my truck. I wanna do a cold air intake and ive read a little about needing a tuner since it will make it even more leaner? And my budget would be at around $1,000. Doesnt have to be that much cheaper the better but what works the best.

So shoot me some ideas on what i should do would be greatly appreciated thanks guy!

Gryphon or SCT. Gryphon is an edge tuner that has been modified to accept "custom tunes". The SCT can hold custom tunes. All 3 have generic tunes for your truck. So go tuner first. Gotts mod @ $10. The remainder for general maintenance and gas.
