Thx for info, well here is what I know about truck as I just bought it 4 to 6 weeks ago, the people that I bought from sounded nice and said was a great truck, so within a week all brakes and front rotors needed to be changed, then the studdering and stalling started, truck has 256, 000 km and they said all maintained good....I fought it as the things I have found and seen I think they didn't do anymore then they had to, rrrr
So now I am trying to change oil and filter, fuel filter, air filter, and what I can do easy, the thing is that it pulls no codes, so would you think that maybe another code reader might pick up something, ? Thx for any or all info givin....

Not sure on that one. You could try it and let us know. I think you said you were going to do lockouts or I would probably replace both. The new ones have a check valve that is new and they are 45 apiece plus 20 for the seals, both motorcraft. Good luck.

Check Amazon might find them cheaper there. Or rock auto. Definitely change both. Check your repair manual I'm not positive but you might have to pull the valve covers to get at them on an 07 which can be a pita.I would also check the fpdm just do a search there's lots of info on it here.

I think they can be done with out taking valve covers off as there is a dust cover to remove, but will find out later today. I think the fpdm unit your talking about is the part above spare tire ? Well I have plugged in the vct back in on passenger side and all good still. As I thought when it would make the noise and run like **** it sounded like drivers side. I also went to check my tranny oil and the stupid last owner must have lost dip stick so he used a broken oil one to replace rrrrrrr. So I will be changing and checking lots on this truck aguess. I hope some of this info can help others....let you know when I plug other one back in....thx
