Default New and have some questions....

Whats up everyone?

Im new to the Forums and Ford Trucks. Its a 2006 F150 Lariat SuperCrew

Just wanted to get an idea of what people are using for Tonneau Covers. I want to get one but not sure what brand/style is best.

Im also looking for a push bar, not the big one that covers the entire front. Best place to buy, best one to buy?

The stock head unit has an AUX button, and I've seen it was an option to have Sirius, can I just buy a stock Sirius Brain and plug it into the truck? Is there an easier way?

Thanks for all the help!!

Project.

I'm not to sure about the AUX Button myself, I've been trying to figure that out myself, I'm thinking maybe one of the 12v or cigarette lighters would work with a conversion kit; not sure.

I do however have a Truxedo Truxport Roll-Up cover that I would I would highly recommend. The best part of the soft cover is that if you are needed to throw a large item on the bed unexpectedly all you have to do is roll it up and there you go; hard covers is another story. And if your have a locking tailgate you still don't have to worry about anyone breaking in.

And for the bar I would recommend Pepboys; or maybe search online for a better priced one or maybe more options of them.

Thanks for the heads up. Im trying to avoid the FM transmitter style of Sirius, you loose a bunch of sound quality. I used to have one. From what im seeing, i should be able to just get the sirius oem brain and plug it right up to the stock head unit. I just want to confirm before i buy it.

Thanks again,

Project.

Your going to open a huge OLD can of worms on the oil and filters issue But just for giggles, I just use the Motorcraft 5W30 blend oil and Motorcraft filter every 3 to 5 thousand miles.

Thanks! I see reading on here that most people just use the recommended oil and filter. Makes sense to me. Thanks again
