Default tie rods

I have the same exact issue on my 04' screw. I recently had some maintainance done on my truck and the service adviser told me it was the steering tie rods (i think thats what they're called) that was causing the vibration at high speeds. For me it happens at about 65-75 mph.

Ive had this issue ever since i got stuck in mud some years back. Even with brand new tires, balance, and alignment I would get the vibration. I'm hoping the replacement of the tie rods will fix my problem. I know that the dealership carries the part but i also believe auto parts stores such as advance auto parts or o'reillys can have them.

One other thing the service adviser explained to me was that it could also be a combination of things that cause that vibration. Currently i have about 40k miles on my tires. I have low profile 20's with yokohama parada spec x tires (which are supposed to have a superb ride.)

Also, i agree with the users who said that 22's dont ride smoothly. The stock 17s that i replaced with the 20's offered a much smoother ride. I can only imagine what riding on 22's would be like. But on a positive note, ive been told that low profile tires offer better traction at freeway speeds. But ive also heard that the tires wont last as long. I was able to get 55k miles on my stock tires and now have about 40k miles on my current tires without much life left.

Hope this info helps you. Im very curious about what exactly is causing the vibration in your truck seeing as how I have a very similar problem.
