When i floor the gas the truck hesitates for a second before taking off... Is this because of the sensors? There is a k&n cold intake on there....

Fly by wire, it is frustrating. A lot of people swear a tuner helps quite a bit.

I've read a bit and guys running the evolution. I had one on my last Chevrolet and it helped nothing at all...except helped cause alot or spark knock running the right gas for the tune...

But you couldn't alter as much on the gm as you can the ford.

That 2 and 1/2 second pause has drivin me nuts for seven years. I keep saying I'll buy an edge, but something always steals my $300 for something else.
