Default New coil packs

Installed 8 new coil packs because my truck has been misfiring for the past 6 months and now it's working like it should. The only question I do have is why when I floor it, it barley spudders for just a sec but does take off ?

I would clear the pcm and change the fuel filter for starters if you haven't already.

I'm assuming he means clear any codes or the keep alive memory from the PCM. You can clear them by leaving the battery disconnected for a few hours, but should be done with a scan tool. Either way it more than likely won't fix your problem. How many miles on your truck and are your plugs original?

Plugs are 2 years new and new coil packs out in Friday night. No more misfiring but I think not putting the dielectric grease on the coils may have something to do with it so I'm going here in a few to my buddies shop so he can slap some grease on.
