New to the Club...
Hello all! In about 2 weeks time I'll be getting my first truck... One of my buddies is selling me his '05 FX4!
It'll be a second vehicle for me, with the intent of becoming my daily driver. My current vehicle is my real baby - a lifted 2000 Jeep Cherokee...
With the addition of the Ford, I'll finally be able to tear into the Jeep and take care of a bunch of things I haven't been able to do with it being my sole source of transportation. But I digress...
The Ford has less than 60k miles on her. I plan on doing a tune-up myself as soon as the title passes over. I'm aware of the spark plug issue for the 3-valve Tritons, and have started reading the sticky here on this issue; I'm going to go ahead and tackle it now rather than wait another 40k miles. I'm only a couple of pages into the sticky, but it looks like the recommended plugs mentioned there are still the same ones around today. I'm an Autolite fan, so I'm probably going with the HT-15s, but I was wondering if anyone had any personal experience/advice to offer up?
Looking forward to becoming part of this great community!
