Started with a clean one-owner 06 4wd.. lowered it 2.5/5 , updating metal strip front bumper to 09-up to work with Harley fascia, using FX2 grill , Saleen hood, 09-up painted mirrors and door handles, street scenes smoothed and painted bed caps, painting the chrome rockers pearl white, 22" DUB Skillz wheels, tinting taillights, and painting the headlights black, Here's some pics so far... truck is currently in body shop getting everything painted. Going to install Navigator dash and.console as soon as I get it back from Body shop Day I bought it... After removing steps, lowering it, grill Bumper and Harley fascia Had to change bumpers due to Foglight location Saleen hood Wheels I picked out
I really like the look of the stock truck.

Stock is boring, this build is tasteful and so far, well done. I am a sucker for lowered white trucks though! My last truck was 3/5 lowered Superduty in white.

Thanks for taking off that hideous chrome rocker panel. I always hated how the Lincolns had that. Oh, and I would have painted those skull caps white, but that can always be done later if you choose.

Thankyou, sounds like you have great taste too ") I actually have 14 ' painted mirrors and painted door handles ready to put on it when I get the truck home. I also have a Saleen tail gate cap but will most likely sell to get complete set of smooth Street Scene caps to be painted. Thankyou for the compliments !

And we hit a snag... 09 bumper isn't as easy as just switching few brackets. Going to have to use combination of my original brackets and had to order 14' brackets to support the metal strip. Foglight brackets are also not compatible.

It's all good, was expecting it.. just worried about 09-up metal strip working with 04-08 upper pad. I guess we'll cross that bridge Friday after the brackets come in... Not giving up, that's for sure !!! Gives them time to polish the truck anyways lol

Running into so many issues with bumper. The 09 bumper has to be modified extensively just to re install the 06-08 brackets. You also have to trim off the lip ( 1 1/2" tall ) that tucks under the upper bumper pad and then the shape of the bumpers are completely different I literally got so irritated that I walked away from the project until I can clear my thoughts. I don't want to give up but thinking it's looking like I may have to sell all my Harley stuff
