i too am looking for a good battery. I think Costco batteries were at one time rated pretty good by consumer reports.
My friend worked for Interstate for a few years and he highly recomends them if you have the money .

How long did your Fomoco battery last? Mine gave me 5 1/2 years, so I checked the Ford parts department and bought another, as they had a good sale going; it beat the other prices.

So far I have 2 1/2 trouble free years on this one.

Don't leave them out; check their prices too.

The last MC I bought lasted 2 years, the one it replaced lasted 6.

I agree Interstate batteries are by far the best. That's what I ran in everything since I started driving and what I'll replace my factory one with when it's done.

I've had red/yellow tops, they do not like cold! Interstate makes a stout battery. Everyone I've had lasted longer than the cars!
