Fender flares look good on trucks with wide mud tires or big tires. So they are more for "off-road" looking trucks and you have this race truck might not be able to make it over a speed bump look going on.

i put on the 1.5 wheel spacers and the tires looked really wide so that is why i wanted the flares as well.. I originally talked with the body shop about cutting the flares over the body molding but that turned out to be a real chore and more than i wanted to spend.. Got a BOSS LED grille overlay coming that will really stand out... This will be a 1-off truck.. Then its just throttle body, log tube headers and supercharger.. I believe the bank account will be empty by that point

I don't dislike it, I see the look you are going for though. I think if they were color matched or blended into the body more, then they would look better. It looks better than half the trucks I have seen with them. Rutledge Wood has a sweet single cab tundra that is lowered and has flares and it looks amazing.

I don't mind the flared look if the tires fill out the flare. They would however, IMO look better if they weren't the bolt on look, molded into the body kit, and ptm.

I wanted the flares black. You people are forgetting that I am a fan of the VAUNTED, FEARED, INDESTRUCTABLE, BLACK DEATH THAT IS THE KILLING POWER OF THE ULTIMATE FOOTBALL FORCE IN THE UNIVERSE....THE MAYHEM.. THE CARNAGE.. THE TERROR OF THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS!!!!!!!

Looks like someone has a steeler boner...

How did you get the flares to stop where the body kit starts? Did you just cut them off? I'd think it'd look cooler if the flares were flush with the body kit. When they stick out further it looks odd, at least from the pics we have access to. But I like the color scheme.

Plastidip the wheels black, that would help a ton. I wondered how the flares got like that as well.

the body shop cut them that way. they were originally going to cut around the body kit but that turned into a major chore and was going to cost a bunch more

ive wondered about black wheels..might have to try some photoshop
