Default new to the 04-08 forum with a noob-ish question

hey guys, i just picked up an 08 KR 4x4 with 82K on it and im trying to figure out how my exhaust is going to be set up.

my 03 5.4 has magnaflow high flow cats, going into a si/do 11" magnaflow. i LOVE the sound and would like to replicate that sound on my new truck.

the only thing i want to do different is go true dual, so here's my question:

do the magnaflow di/do mufflers have the x pipe integrated in the muffler? or will i need an x pipe between the cats and muffler?

im also considering deleting the rear cats...i know its a no-no, but i want to see what you guys experienced deleting your rear cats.

thanks in advance guys, ill probly be on here more often once i get rid of my 03 and start DD-ing the 08.

An 08 only has two cats, so no rears to delete. For the duals I'd still throw an X pipe up where the stock Y is at and run it back to the muffler. Even with the X pipe in the muffler like Magnaflow has, it's too far back to really create the scavenging that it should.

Oh, wow... i feel stupid. thanks Otto, Ill probly end up putting a Magnaflow x pipe in front of the muffler as close to the cats as I can. On second thought I may go for an el cheapo aluminized steel x pipe since that's what the muffler shop will likely use to run the true duals.
