Went to put 325/70/17s on my truck today and couldn't. Truck is 4wd with 2.5" level and 17x9 gear alloy rims. What can I do to get them to fit. I can trim under the front bumper but am worried about the part near the door. What's everyone's opinion

I put 325/60/18 on a -12 offset aftermarket wheel. Falken Wildpeak tires. They run when I turn the wheels backing up and I have a 2.5" leveling kit also. It's only when I back up to they rub and it's on the cab side. I already trimmed the piece under the bumper and got them to clear.

I think I saw another post you did that mentioned these tires and I have to say that I was curious as to how they would fit. I ordered a 4" lift to keep mine from rubbing. If you can afford the $1200 the lift costs then swing it. I don't know what else you can do other than a body lift which isn't all that great. Just my opinion. Your truck would look really good with a 4" lift.

Yea I was looking at body lifts. I'm having a rough time getting tires to wear good my current set of bfg ats 275/70/17 have 20,000 miles on them and almost wore out. I'm wondering if I add billestine 5100 adjustable shocks and set them at half inch and add my leveling 2.5" leveling kit on if I can make it work. I'm not sure on what to do

Pardon me if I insult your intelligence but did you have your truck realigned after installing the leveling kit? I was not aware that needed to be done until I got doing some research about the kits. If you didn't, that is what is causing your tread wear. If you did, perhaps have the alignment rechecked. I do not know if new shocks will fix that problem or not.

The Bilsteins are either 0,,1in,, or 2in.... There is not a 1/2in setting. F150lifts.com might be able to help you out. http://www.f150lifts.com/2004-2008_c_136.html

1. Suspension lift
2. Different size tires
3. Different offset rims

The fitment issues are most likely due to an improper backspacing on your wheels. Search for the tire fitment sticky to see what you need.
I would stay away from the body lift. I heard they are a bitch to install on these trucks, which unless you are doing it yourself, drives the installation cost way up. Four the price and time, I know i would just go suspension. That way you actually gain ground clearance and everybody else doesn't have to look at a big rusty frame hanging out under your truck.

Ok so I solved all my problems today. I went with a 305/70/17 nitto terra grappler and couldn't be happier. And no scrubbing at all👍
